Some amazing cockpit video here from both teams. Be sure to watch at 12:06 when Blue Angels No. 6 just about gets a wing through his cockpit on during a turn. Great stuff.

It should be cool when the Snowbirds do their cross country trip up here. Although they mention “targeting” neighborhoods and hospitals.

They are saying that’s one of the reasons they’re not publishing the routes. They don’t want people to congregate. Well, I’m putting on a mask and congregating.

We have the F-35's from Hill AFB doing a flyover of Utah today. Should be coming over me around 2:45 so hopefully I can get a good look. I doubt I will be able to get a photo that’s worthwhile

I’m Blue Angels all the way. Always have been. Maybe because I’m old enough to have seen them fly the F-4s back in the day. Maybe because I grew up in a Navy town. Maybe because I grew up reading about the Navy air war in the Pacific (no disrespect to the AAF guys in Europe). I’ve just always been a fan of the Blues.

Excellent museum! Bit out of the way to get to but definitely worth it. I spent half a day there once and only left because they were kicking everybody out due to closing for the day.

Well duh of course you cant get a photo, they are stealth planes! So much for stealth though when your entire house rumbles due to the sound.

I missed them. They are too stealthy. They were also behind some mountains but I’m going to chalk it up to stealth instead of me being an idiot and not realizing they were flying over the hospital
